True North is a Federal Setting IV program for students in grades K–12 who learn and grow best with a little more support, structure, and understanding around them. We help students in grades K-12 grow their communication, social, academic, functional skills and flourish as individuals that are guided by each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

In our warm, structured classrooms, small groups and low student-to-staff ratios let our team truly know each child. Licensed teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists including school psychology, speech-language, occupational therapy, and mental health supports work hand in hand with families to meet every student right where they are. Grounded in relationship-based, trauma-informed care and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), we celebrate progress of every kind, from a first friendly hello to a proud academic milestone.

At True North, we believe in every learner's ability to grow, and we are honored to walk beside our students and families each step of the way with the ultimate goal of transitioning back to their home district.

Special Education Services at True North are provided in collaboration with our 8 member districts. Please contact your local education team if you have any questions about a partnership with ISD 6076. Referrals are accepted only from our 8 member school districts for our special education programs.
